How it all started

It all begins with an idea.

For the sake of my sanity, I left a desk job that I wasn’t enjoying any more. I’ve worked for e-commerce companies since 2000 working my way up and specialising in fraud prevention and online payments acceptance. At first, I worked predominantly for online gambling companies. It really was all fun and games in this sector working all over the world (by far the most exciting was help setting up a bookmaker and lottery in Nigeria!) until, as the slogan says, ‘when the fun stops, stop’. I moved into general e-commerce and landed an amazing role at a very big internet company, working with some of the brightest people around. Then Covid hit, we were all sent home and 3 years later, I was absolutely sick of it.

Now, my time as a petrolhead. I’ve always been big on cars. From the go-kart my dad made, the scalextric my brother bought me, and basically memorising the stats pages of all the magazine I could get my hands on. When I could, I loved my fast BMWs, Mercs, Jags and now my Porsche 997.

I’d been looking into CO2 cleaning for a while - my cars are used everyday come rain, snow or shine. Being a 17 year old car, there was bound to be areas that needed some attention under there. I was doing my own detailing on the usual parts of the cars and helping friends and neighbours with theirs. I hatched a plan…cue the A-team music…I was going to setup a dedicated dry ice blasting company covering Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. Clean them…protect them. Simple…or so I thought!
