2 Post Lift

Lift installed. Almost plumed in. But seen here lifting my little car up.

Lift selection took me weeks. I must have spoken to nearly every lift supplier and a hand full of installers over 2 weeks. Not knowing left from right in the garage lift world I found it hard to sieve through what’s good and not.

I wanted to deal with a UK company…I initially thought I wanted a European made one. But quickly found out that virtually everything is China made. Now I had to wade through what was considered good or not. The ones that are locally made, are also priced so highly that it because obvious that these would be out of my budget.

I had 2 must have, clear floor (meaning the cross member is positioned above the car and not on the floor) and suitable sized to accommodate a 911 and Range Rover with ease.

The unit I lumped for, from https://www.garageequipment.co.uk/ fitted the bill and whist a little overkill rated at 4.5ton, is absolutely solid.
